Occupation: Social Media Strategist for the National Trust for Historic Preservation

Hobbies/Passions: At the moment, I’m deeply into being an embittered Caps fan. Is that a hobby? (Seriously, though, I’m mostly into the pretty standard things — reading, travel, beer, sports, etc. And I knit. Mostly socks.)

How did you hear about us?: I participated in a bunch of SMCDC events, and joined the new group when it replaced SMCDC.

Why did you join DD?: I was impressed by the SMCDC events and thought making the organization even more professional seemed like a good thing to support.

What do you want out of your DD membership?: Networking connections and learning opportunities, mostly.

Who is your favorite person to follow on social media? Why?:​ It’s incredibly hard to pick just one person, but if I had to, I’d say He’s a fantastic writer and an even better social observer, and his tweets are generally hilarious, poignant, or insightful — and often all three at once.
