Second Annual Career Success Fair

On April 9, join Digital District as we partner with the George Washington University School of Media and Public Affairs () to offer our second annual Career Success Fair.

Last year, attendees interacted with representatives from companies including Brazen Careerist, Edelman, Creative Circle, SocialCode and Anchor Media, gaining valuable advice on resume building, personal branding, and how to score a job in today’s competitive social marketing and communications fields.

This year, we’ll once again have experts from DC’s communications and marketing fields offering advice on how to approach your job search, excel in interviews, and land a job you’ll love. In addition, there will be a variety of companies recruiting for intern to mid-level employees. This is a great opportunity to:

  • Get expert critiques on your resume
  • Practice interview skills
  • Learn how to use social media to network
  • Identify appropriate interview dress
  • And more!

Please join us at GW’s Marvin Center Continental Ballroom (800 21st Street NW, Washington, DC 20052) from 6:30-8:30pm on Wednesday, April 9, 2014. We will be kicking off the evening with light snacks and the opportunity to network with other job seekers. Our keynote speaker, Alexis Grant, will take the stage at 7:00pm. Following the keynote, you will have the opportunity to interact one-on-one with experts and hiring managers.

Do not miss this event. Register now to take advantage of special early bird pricing for professionals. Students with valid student ID are invited to attend free of charge. Business attire is suggested.

If you are hiring or would like to use your experience to give back to the community, we would love for you to join our career fair as a speaker or partner. Please fill out this form so that we may contact you promptly.
