How did you hear about Digital District? I honestly can’t remember? Haha, I’m guessing Twitter?

Why did you apply to join the team? I went to a summer happy hour, was blown away by the passion and dedication of the team and knew that I wanted to a part of it!

Who is your favorite person to follow on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Swarm, etc)? Hmmm, I love (NatGeo’s Digital Nomad) on Twitter; (Los Angeles County Museum of Art) on Snapchat is hilarious; on Facebook fuels my wanderlust; and , and are some of my faves on Instagram.

What would you like to accomplish/help make happen in your team role for Digital District? As Secretary, I’d like to spread my love of spreadsheets and post-it notes to all. That…and help streamline communication throughout the team.

What team are you apart of and how long have you been involved with DD? Welp, I’ve been around for awhile…joined in 2011 when we were still Social Media Club DC, and rocked out on the Events Team for most of the past three years. These days I’m on the Board of Directors and spearhead special projects.

DC’s a great place, and there is always something new to do in the city. There is always something new to explore. Tell us about your favorite DC gems. Oh man. I could probably write a book on this subject (I write a lot about it HERE). But, let’s see…favorite ______ gem:

Brunch – Cave Mezze (hello $0.01 mimosas!)

Photo Op – Aqueduct Bridge in Georgetown

Museum – Art Museum of the Americas

Happy Hour – Ghibellina or DC Reynolds

Old School DC Bar – Tabard Inn or Off the Record

Odd/Awesome – National Park Seminary

Do you favorite a social channel? Why do you like that particular one over another?Instagram. Hands down. I’m a visual person and I find myself using that platform more than anything else.

What is one thing we don’t know about you? I used to play a satirical news anchor on a podcast…my character was called Patty Patoot!
