How did you hear about Digital District? Twitter…shocking right
Why did you apply to join the team? The mission of the organization speaks to me.
Who is your favorite person to follow on social media (Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, Facebook, Swarm, etc)? Just ONE??? Well, this is hard. I have to go with . On G+, it’s a joy to follow because his photos just take my breath away.
What would you like to accomplish/help make happen in your team role for Digital District? I’d like to get more nonprofit organizations and companies to join Digital District.
What team are you a part of and how long have you been involved with DD? I joined Team Membership in July.
DC’s a great place, and there is always something new to do in the city. There is always something new to explore. Tell us about your favorite DC gems. I’m not a DC resident, but I enjoy spending time in the city. I’m quite fond of Eastern Market, Air & Space Museum (yep, still one of my favs), Honfleur Art Gallery, and Brookland Cafe to name a few. I find it incredibly exciting discovering new places to visit and eat in the city.
Do you have a favorite a social channel? Why do you like that particular one over another? I’d have to say Twitter and G+. I still find Twitter enjoyable and over the years I’ve become addicted to live-tweeting TV shows. My second favorite channel is G+. When I received an invite to G+ back in 2011, I got sucked in from the start. SO much so, I completely stopped using Facebook. G+ became my “real” community.
What is one thing we don’t know about you? I was raised in California and I’m an awesome cook. Sometimes I think I should have become a chef.
